THRISSUR: A native of Thalikulam in Thrissur was nabbed following an Indonesian woman’s complaint of circulating her nude pics. The cyber police arrested Hassan (29) of Thalikulam Puthiya Veettil.

The complainant is a teacher in Indonesia. The complaint was lodged to the DGP via email. Hasan was in Dubai. The police arrested him soon after he landed at the Nedumbassery airport.

The two were friends. After breaking ties, he started a fake Facebook account using her pictures. The woman complained that he circulated edited nude pics and videos in this account.

The accused also sent the pictures to her family and friends. She lodged the complaint in 2019. He was nabbed by a team led by cyber-crime inspector P K Padmarajan.
