KOCHI: Dileep termed as untrue the allegation that he destroyed evidences from his phone in the murder conspiracy case to kill the investigating officers in the case of attack on the actress. The actor claimed that private chats unrelated to the case were deleted. Dileep clarified this while giving an explanation in the high court on the plea seeking to quash the FIR.

The forensic examination of the phones did not find anything. There is a discrepancy between the forensic report and the investigating officer's explanation. Dileep said in the plea that there was no difference between the mirror image found in the lab and the forensic report. The actor also alleged that the statement of Dasan, his servant is untrue. The day Dasan said to have reached the office of advocate Raman Pillai, he was down with Covid. Dileep produced the Covid certificate to prove it. Dasan had quit his job on December 26 in 2020. The actor claimed that it is untrue to say that Dasan overheard the conversation in his house on October 2021.

Meantime, the attacked actress lodged a complaint with the bar council against Dileep’s lawyer advocate B Raman Pillai. The actress complained that he tried to influence the witness and to destroy the evidence. She also complained against advocates Philip T Varghese and Sujesh Menon. She demanded action against them.
