KOCHI: The probe team has started questioning Anjali Reema Dev, accused in the No. 18 Hotel Pocso case. Anjali is being questioned at the Commissioner's office in Kochi. She appeared in court on Wednesday in connection with a case of molestation of a minor girl. The probe team has issued a notice to her to appear for questioning.
Anjali is the third accused in the case. Earlier, they had said that the truth would be proved in the case. She said that she would not comment further as the case is being considered by the court. Anjali had earlier been granted anticipatory bail by the high court. She appeared in court to complete the proceedings of Pocso case.
Earlier, a notice was issued before the inquiry team but they did not take it. Anjali, who finally reached the court, was given a direct notice by the probe team. Earlier, Roy Vayalat, the owner of Hotel No. 18 and the first accused in the case, and Saiju Thankachan, the second accused, had surrendered. The two surrendered after the court denied them anticipatory bail.
