ALAPPUZHA: The Crime Branch has submitted the chargesheets in the cases related to the murder of SDPI state secretary KS Shan and BJP leader Renjith Sreenivasan. The chargesheets were submitted in the Judicial First Class Magistrate's Court.

A 1,100-page chargesheet has been filed in the Renjith murder case. 15 accused, including those directly involved in the crime and those involved in the conspiracy, were mentioned in the first phase of the chargesheet. There are a total of 35 accused and 200 witnesses in the Renjith murder case. A 483-page chargesheet has been filed in the Shan murder case. The first phase mentioned 11 accused involved in the murder and conspiracy. There are a total of 143 witnesses.
