IDUKKI: The police have arrested the accused in the case of sexually abusing a minor blind student at Kudayathur. Rajesh, an employee of the school where the girl was studying, was arrested. The accused had asked the girl's brother to destroy the evidence.

The audio proving the school management’s attempt to settle the case by giving money has surfaced. In the audio clip, the headmaster requests not to expose the incident.

The girl studied in a school in Thodupuzha. It was during this period Rajesh, a school employee, misbehaved with the student. The incident came to light after the girl told her friends about it.

The school management tried to settle the case with money after realizing that the family was moving ahead with the complaint. There are reports of the management paying money to the family after summoning them to the school in January. The Federation of the Blind lodged a complaint with the DGP pointing all these things. The action was taken based on the complaint.
