ALAPPUZHA: Two were killed after a lorry fatally knocked them down while they were on a morning stroll. The two dead has been identified as Raju Mathew (66) and Vikraman Nair (65). The accident happened at Nooranad in Alappuzha. Two have been seriously injured in the accident.

One of the injured has been admitted at a private medical college in Thiruvalla and the other at Alappuzha Medical College. The lorry did not stop after the accident. Police said steps are being taken to find the lorry with the help of CCTV visuals.
