A large gap has evolved in the India-Pakistan relations as the latter continues relentless violence across borders. India has stopped playing Cricket with Pakistan except in World Cup venues. Pakistani actors were banned from acting in Bollywood. The gap further widened with the Uri attack in 2016.

Meanwhile, Bollywood superstar Sanjay Dutt’s meeting with former Pakistan President Parvez Musharraf has caused a stir on social media. Sanjay Dutt had met Musharraf by chance during a visit to Dubai. A picture showing Musharraf sitting in a wheelchair while Sanjay points towards something, has been widely circulated on the social media.

With this, severe insults have been raised against Sanjay Dutt on the social media. ‘One terrorist meets another, wondering if the security agencies know about what the whole meeting was all about, Pakistan’s former military dictator General Musharraf hanging out with Sanjay Dutt; wonder what is going on, What the hell has a Bollywood actor got to do with mastermind of Kargil’, were some of the questions asked by some Twitter users.

Musharraf, who is facing trial in several criminal cases during his rule, had left Pakistan in 2016. The 78-year-old ex-president has been undergoing treatment in UAE for the past six years.
