THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The state confirmed 719 COVID-19 cases on Saturday. Among these, 660 persons developed the disease through contact, including 51 cases without an identified source of infection.‍ One person, who came from outside the state, tested positive for the virus. 7 health workers contracted the disease on Saturday.

915 patients tested negative for the virus today. As of now, there are 6148 active cases in the state.

The state confirmed 5 deaths due to the virus on Saturday with the toll rising to 67,315.
