THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The capital city is celebrating the 26th International Film Festival. Film lovers from all over the country are celebrating the festival in Ananthapuri. IFFK which had been held simply for the past two years due to Covid, has now returned to its former glory. The eight-day festival, which runs from March 18 to 25, will feature over 180 films screened in 14 theaters. 10 women drivers are the delegate drivers at this fair. They deliver delegates to the theaters on time. They also play an important role in the success of the festival and are good film lovers.
They often say that they do not even have time to eat properly in the rush to get the delegates to their destination. These women drivers are with the movie lovers as they continue their journey from one theater to another.
The e-auto can drive up to 80 km on a single charge. Bindu, one of the auto drivers, says there is huge traffic everywhere. Delegates cooperate really well. Bindu said that many people enquires about them and about auto. Although she loves movies, she often does not get the chance to go to the theatre and watch movies due to the hustle and bustle of life. Bindu added that the film festival is a good source of income and the ten e-auto drivers consider the film festival as a boon.
Sunita, another driver, said the passengers treat them really well. Sometimes, even if they do not even have time to drink water, these drivers do not bother to complain. Because like everyone else, the success of the film festival is the goal of these film lovers.
