BENGALURU: The body of Naveen Shekharappa, Indian student killed in Ukraine has been brought to Bengaluru. The body brought in Air India’s special flight was received by Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai. The body was later taken to his hometown Haveri.

It was earlier informed that the body would reach on Sunday. The body will be handed over to the medical college after public homage. 21-year-old Naveen was a fourth year medical student of Kharkiv National Medical University. He was killed on March 1st when he stepped out of his apartment and was standing in the queue to buy some essential items at 8 am in the morning. Another student of the same place sustained injuries in the attack.
