NEW DELHI: The congress is planning to raise police’ action in connection with the laying of survey stones for K Rail, in the Parliament. K Muraleedharan MP has moved a notice for adjournment motion in the Lok Sabha.
Muraleedharan said the police are attacking the people for laying the stones and the issues are deteriorating the law and order situation. The SilverLine is addressed as the joint venture of the Indian Railways and the Kerala Government. The notice mentioned that the centre cannot absolve itself of responsibility.
Meantime, the congress is planning to intensify their protests by removing the stones laid. An announcement on it will be made today. Their decision is to strengthen the strike by including leaders. The state level inauguration of the youth congress’ strike will be held in front of the secretariat today. However, the government’s decision is to take strict action against those removing the stones. A case will be registered against them and a fine will be imposed on them.
