NEW DELHI: Fuel prices will continue to rise in the country tomorrow as well amid rising crude oil prices. According to reports, petrol price will be hiked by 90 paise per litre and diesel by 84 paise per litre. With this, petrol price in Kochi will cross Rs 106. To buy a litre of diesel in Kochi you have to pay more than Rs 93. In Thiruvananthapuram, petrol price will cross Rs 108. Petrol and diesel prices have risen, for the first time in 137 days on Monday. Petrol price was hiked by 80 paise per litre. Fuel prices remains freezed during the election peiod in five states.
The price of cooking gas in the country has also gone up today following the rise in fuel prices. The price of a domestic gas cylinder has been increased by Rs 50. The new price in Kochi is Rs 956. The increase in the price of a domestic cylinder comes after five months. The price of a five kg cylinder has also been increased. The price has been hiked by Rs 13 per cylinder. With this, the price became Rs 352.
