THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The price of petrol and diesel rise for second consecutive day. Petrol price was hiked by 90 paise per litre and diesel by 84 paise. The petrol price was hiked by Rs 1.78 paise and diesel by Rs1.69 paise in two days.

A litre of petrol in Thiruvananthapuram will now cost Rs 108.06 paise and diesel Rs 95.38 paise. In Kochi, petrol is currently priced at Rs 106.06 per litre and diesel at Rs 93.14 per litre. The cost of petrol in Kozhikode today is Rs 106.26 paise and diesel Rs 93. 43 paise.

Petrol price was hiked by 88 paise and diesel by 85 paise yesterday after 137 days. There was another price hike today also. The price of cooking gas in the country was increased on Tuesday. The price of a gas cylinder for domestic use has been increased by Rs 50.
