THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A decision has been taken to move forward with the project and there are buffer zone on either sides of K Rail, said CPM state secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan.
What the K Rail MD says is right and not the minister. Land will be acquired only after compensation is paid. Will not take anyone's land by force, he said.
The UDF had also laid stones for high speed train. The LDF did not raise any objection then. The K Rail project will not be scrapped if the stones are taken to the Congress office. The project can be done without laying stones. There are similar projects in eight states ruled by the BJP and the Congress, he said.
The BJP had said that they will not join hands with the UDF in the strike but see what happened in Kozhikode. Kodiyeri also spoke about Congress' reserve force. He said, let all come, will defend after bringing everyone together.
