KOTTAYAM: Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan has raised serious allegations against Minister Saji Cherian in connection with K-rail. Thiruvanchoor alleged that the K-rail alignment in Chengannur was changed to protect the minister's house.

Thiruvanchoor alleges that the K-rail alignment was changed at Kurichimuttam,in Chengannur. He released a new map and an old one about it. In the new alignment, Mulakuzha panchayat is seen on the right. But in the old one, this area was shown on the left side. According to Thiruvanchoor, the change was made for Minister Saji Cherian. The Minister should reveal that who benefitted from this realignment.Thiruvanchoor said that he will reveal more details if Saji Cherian continues to speak about this matter. He also demanded that K-rail MD Ajith Kumar should respond to the change in alignment.

At the same time, Saji Cheriyan said in response to the allegations that a leader who knew about the project should not have made such a cheap comment. Alignment is determined by satellite. The govt has nothing to do with this. Alignment has not been finalized. A social impact study on this is under progression. Saji Cheriyan said that there were problems with laying of survey stones.

Saji Cheriyan said that Thiruvanchoor should take the initiative to bring the K-rail through the front of his house and on the top of his house. He does not want a penny. The only condition is that he owns a house and land worth crores of rupees. It is written for a Palliative Society. All you have to do is buy the land and buy it from Thiruvanchoor and the Congress leaders can give it to palliative care. He has nothing more to say. This is a dream project not only of the government but also of the people. The next generation will be proud of those who started the project. Saji Cheriyan said that the opposition were at first targetting the Chief Minister and when they found out that it was not effective, they are now targetting him.
