THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Minister Saji Cheriyan has corrected the statement that there will be no buffer zone on both sides of the Silverline. The minister's correction came after CPM state secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan confirmed that there would be a buffer zone on both sides of the road.

'The party secretary was right about the buffer zone. I may have made a mistake. Human beings make mistakes.', said the Minister.

Saji Cheriyan on Tuesday said that there was no buffer zone on either side of the Silverline. Following this statement, MD V Ajithkumar clarified that there will be a 10 metre buffer zone.

Meanwhile, Kodiyeri said that the government would go ahead with the K-Rail project. He alleged that the Congress and the BJP were working together in Kozhikode against the survey.
