THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Cabinet has decided to appoint 1500 surveyors and 3200 helpers to fasten the first phase of digital re-survey of 1550 villages in the state. Appointment will be made on contract basis through Employment Exchange.
The total cost of the digital re-survey is Rs 807 crore. Out of this `339 crore will be allotted from Rebuild Kerala for the first phase.
The salaries of the officers under the UGC scheme of the Kerala University of Health Sciences will be revised. The arrears will be decided later.
Salary reform will be implemented in the Kerala Motor Workers Welfare Fund Board. The salaries, allowances and other benefits of employees in government-recognized posts will be revised as per the provisions of the 11th Pay Amendment Order.
A sum of Rs 7,04,900 has been sanctioned from the Chief Minister's Disaster Relief Fund for the purchase of 2 cents of land and a house for Lourdes, whose house was completely destroyed in the 2018 floods at Kadamkampally village in Thiruvananthapuram.
