NEW DELHI: Congress leader K Muraleedharan came down heavily on Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. All hopes of the chief minister on the SilverLine had been faded. After meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the chief minister has lost his confidence and behaves like one who has lost his mental balance, Muraleedharan said.
The chief minister called on the Prime Minister yesterday requesting sanction for SilverLine. The chief minister had said that the Prime Minister had taken a positive stand and the meeting will help to expedite sanction for the project.
The chief minister brought to the notice of the Prime Minister that Kerala proceeded with the project as per the assurance given by the Center. The chief minister also clarified in the meeting that the uncertainties in the DPR have been resolved. The chief minister had also met the railway minister.
However, the railway minister told the Rajya Sabha that the project was a complex one and should not hasten. The railway minister's statement on the expense of the project was proof that the chief minister had lied, alleged Muraleedharan.
Muraleedharan said the chief minister is happy for Delhi Police thrashing the MPs, he also added that Pinarayi's approach is to reject even the CPM's previous struggles.
