THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Congress leader KC Joseph welcomed the CPI's view that the Silver Line project should not be forcibly imposed. KC Joseph welcomed the suggestion of CPI assistant secretary Prakash Babu that some things should be rectified.
"It is unfortunate that the Kerala Congress (M) is supporting the SilverLine project while the CPI has said that the project should not be forcibly imposed. The Kerala Congress (M) should be ready to say no to the K-Rail project along with the CPI and not ignore the sentiments of the people who are losing their homes," Joseph said.
This morning, CPI assistant secretary Prakash Babu had said that not everyone who opposed the SilverLine project was an enemy. "We can only move forward in an atmosphere of peace. The government should convince people of its approach. The project can be implemented after that." Prakash Babu said.
