RIYADH: Houthi rebels launched attacks against an oil depot in Saudi Arabia. The rebels had launched rocket and drone strikes at the Jeddah oil depot which resulted in a massive fire at the area. Two tanks in Aramco has caught fire.

Meantime, Saudi Arabian media reported that there were no casualties. The Saudi forces have reportedly destroyed seven drones and a missile fired by Houthi rebels into Jeddah.The attacks happened in Jeddah as the city was all set to host a Formula One race on Sunday. However, the authorities have decided to hold the race on the same day as scheduled.

Following the attacks on the oil depot, Saudi Arabia retaliated by targeting Houthi centres. Air attacks were launched on Yemen’s Houthi-controlled capital Sanaa and the Red Sea port city of Hodeidah. The Saudi military has also said that it has destroyed a power plant and a fuel depot in Hodeidah.
