KYIV: Recent reports claimed that there was boiling discontent among the Russian soldiers deployed in Ukraine. Now, a Russian army commander has been killed by his own forces in an attack in Ukraine. The deceased commander has been identified as Colonel Medvechek of the 37th Russian Rifle Brigade. It is learnt that he was killed by his troops deliberately. Sources said that the commander was run over by an armoured vehicle.

Although the commander was rushed to a hospital in Belarus with serious injuries to both legs, he could not be saved. Meanwhile, some reports are claiming that the commander is still alive.
