Actor Vinayakan had recently courted a controversy over the statement he made during the promotion of his latest film 'Oruthee'. During the promotional event, he said that he did not know what MeToo was. He added that if asking a woman for sex is MeToo, then he will continue to do so. Later, several people criticised the actor for his unpleasant remark.
Now, the actor has come up apologizing for his statements. Vinayakan issued an apology through his Facebook page. He wrote that he was extending an apology to a journalist sister for the difficulty caused to her by his language usage.
