MUMBAI: The first over of the IPL is eventful. Umesh Yadav, struggled to find the line at the start on the Mumbai Wankhede pitch, which favours swing. The first ball turns out to be a no ball. The second ball pitched just in front of the batsman and then swing to the offside. The third ball became wide again. Captain Shreyas Iyer, realizing that his best bowler struggled to find rhythm, approached Yadav and talked to him.

The next ball swings out of the pitched ball in the goodline area. Chennai Super Kings opener Rituraj Gaikwad's attempt to find the boundary was cut off by Nitish Rana. Super Kings could only score three runs in the first over.
