A complaint has been lodged with the National Commission for Women against actor Vinayakan for making controversial remarks on the Metoo issue during a film promotion function. The complaint was lodged by OBC Morcha Thiruvananthapuram district president Thripalapur Vipin alleging that the actor had made misogynistic remarks.
Actor Vinayakan has said that he has had sexual relations with about 10 women and if he wants to have sex do with a woman, he will ask her. The actor reacted to this during the promotion ceremony of the film 'Oruthee'. There was a lot of criticism against his remarks. Following this, Vinayakan apologized for the inconvenience caused due to his language.
