KOTTAYAM: Senior journalist Andoor A Sahadevan died here Sunday. He was 72. He died Sunday morning at 11.55 am while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Kottayam. He was serving as the professor of Manorama School of Communication (MASCOM). He started his journalist career through Mathrubhumi in 1982. He was India Vision programme consultant in 2003. He became famous through the film-based programme ’24 Frames.’
He was born to K C Nair of Puthusseri in Palakkad in 1951 and Padmavathy Amma. He graduated from Palakkad Victoria College and post graduated from University College in Thiruvananthapuram. He had bagged Pamban Madhavan Puraskaram in 1996 and state television award and television chamber’s award in 2010. He leaves behind his wife Pushpa of Kozhikode and daughter Charulekha.
