KOLLAM: A man who stabbed his wife's relative who forbade him from causing a commotion at the house of his estranged wife was arrested along with his father and brother. Benny (44) of Alona Bhavan near Kochalummoodu school in Kurippuzha in Thrikkadavoor, Jijo (Anil -39) and his father Joseph (Ouseph-70) are the ones nabbed by Anchalummoodu police.

As per police, after Benny frequented his wife's house and quarrelled with her, his wife's relative Sebin Seraf, a native of Kurippuzha, forbade him from coming there. On Friday, at around 6.30 pm, when Seraf was going on his scooter, he was stopped and assaulted by the trio on the road near the Ayiravillan temple.

Seraf, who was stabbed deeply in the left chest, is being treated at the Cooperative Hospital in Palathara. A team led by Anchalummoodu inspector C Devarajan and comprising sub-inspectors V Aneesh, Pradeep Kumar, ASI Rajesh and CPO Manikandan arrested the three from Kurippuzha.
