Sagar Vincent should be questioned, says govt
The government informed the high court that Sagar Vincent of Alappuzha, witness in the actress attack case, should be questioned. This was on the plea filed by Sagar alleging that crime branch officer Baiju Paulose threatened to retract the statement. Although Sagar requested the presence of counsel be allowed for questioning, additional public prosecutor P S Narayanan clarified that accused are rarely given such permission and that the plaintiff is a witness. Following that, the bench of Justice Anu Sivaraman postponed considering the plea to today. Sagar is a former employee of Kavya Madhavan's brother's company Lakshya.
