Protestors lock up teachers in class room at Kollam, threatens and hurls abuses KOLLAM: The CPM activists locked up teachers, who came for duty, on the strike day. Fifteen teachers of Kadaikkal Chithara Higher Secondary School were locked up.

Abuses were hurled at the teachers and the protesters threatened to show up when they go out in the evening. The police reached the spot but did not take any action, blamed the teachers.

It has been alleged that the teachers were locked up by a team led by S Shibulal, PTA president, CPM’s local committee member and an employee of Chithara Service Cooperative Bank.
