JAIPUR: A woman doctor, who was charged for causing death of a pregnant woman at a private hospital in Rajasthan, committed suicide. She has been identified as Dr Archana Sharma, the owner of the hospital. She was found hanging at her residence near the hospital.
The police had filed an FIR against her at the Lalsot police station. She hanged herself to death soon after it. Her suicide note said she had not done anything wrong and had not killed anybody. The note said the woman died following bleeding after delivery and has asked to prove her innocence. The woman’s relatives had alleged that doctor’s negligence led to the incident. Her relatives protested in front of the hospital seeking action against the doctor. Soon after this, the police registered the FIR.
