THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The state confirmed 438 COVID-19 cases on Wednesday. Among these, 389 persons developed the disease through contact, including 42 cases without an identified source of infection.‍ Three people came from outside the state. 4 health workers contracted the disease on Wednesday.

562 patients tested negative for the virus today. As of now, there are 3410 active cases in the state.

The state recorded one death due to Covid on Wednesday with the toll rising to 67,865.
