KOCHI: The crime branch is all set to launch a strong probe into the incident after getting court documents from actor Dileep's phone in the case of attacking the actress. It is known that the main investigation will focus on the employees of the court. The investigation team has initiated efforts to seek the permission of the trial court to question the employees. The main question is how Dileep got the court documents.
The team got some documents related to the trial when Dileep's phones were subjected to a scientific examination. The documents were found on the hard disk of Sai Sankar, a cyber-expert who helped Dileep in destroying the data from his phone. The probe team said these were not documents obtained as certified copies from the court and that these were illegally organized by Dileep. The probe team also believe that the court staff has assisted in organizing these. It will be examined whether the relationship between the lawyers who defended Dileep's case and the court staff was used for this. The employees are questioned for this.
Meantime, , the court raised strong questions against director Balachandra Kumar while hearing Dileep's plea to quash the FIR against him in the case of conspiracy to kill the investigating officers. The court asked why Balachandra Kumar had not lodged a complaint earlier despite having strong evidence against Dileep and it does not cast doubt on whether he had any malicious intent. The court had also raised questions against Balachandra Kumar during the hearing yesterday.
