LAHORE: Despite losing the majority in the National Assembly, Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday said that he will not resign from his post. He added that he will face the vote of no-confidence on Sunday.

Imran, who announced that he will fight till the last ball, added that Muslims were not slaves to anyone and that foreign powers were working against a democratically elected prime minister. He also said that he will return stronger no matter what the result of the no-trust vote would be. He said that the vote of no-confidence would take place on Sunday itself.

The Prime Minister sharply criticized the opposition parties in the country, accusing them of betraying the country to foreign powers.

Imran Khan said that although he had raised his voice when India removed the special status of Kashmir, he had not taken any anti-India stance to date. Lashing out at the United States, he accused the United States of abandoning Pakistan when the need arose.
