KOLLAM: An SI has been arrested for destroying evidence found in Operation P Hunt before it reached the court. The Crime Branch has arrested Grade SI Shuja of Paravur station in Kollam.

Shuja had removed and destroyed the mobile phone which was the evidence in the case before it reached the court. He destroyed evidence in the case in which Shuja's relative was the accused. He was arrested by the Crime Branch after it was found that SI had destroyed evidence to help his relative in the investigation.
