THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: State Excise Minister M.V. Govindan's has praised 'Kerala Kaumudi' editorial on good changes in government's new liquor policy. He complimented the editorial through his Facebook page.
"If the decision to allow the production of low-alcohol liquors using fruits such as cashews, jaggery, bananas and pineapples is achieved, it will be a new milestone. This is proper observation", said the minister. The production of this liquor will help in the revival of the agricultural sector in the state.
As written in Kerala Kaumudi, giving permission for distribution of liquor in specially reserved areas in IT parks will strengthen the investment friendly environment. The state government is of the view that Kerala Kaumudi shares that we should sell liquor like in developed countries.
"Kerala Kaumudi's editorial gives strength to such projects of government. Such is their tradition. Thanks.", said the Minister in his post.
