HYDERABAD: More than 150 people, including celebrities and kin of prominent persons, have been taken into custody in a drug bust at a five-star hotel here. Niharika, actor Nagababu's daughter and actress, Rahul Sipliguni, singer and Telugu Bigg Boss fame, daughter of former Andhra Pradesh DGP Gautam Sawang and son of Guntur MP Galla Jayadev were among those arrested in the case. Niharika was later released by the police.

Police raided a hotel in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad on a tip-off that a rave party is going on. The raid took place around 2.30 am on Sunday. Intoxicants including cocaine, charas and cannabis were found in the raid. Police have taken into custody the hotel staff and staff. It is reported that the rave party was organized till morning by misusing the bar license. Meanwhile, the Banjara Hills police inspector has been suspended for failing to take action despite knowing about the party. Top officials said the party was held at the hotel with the knowledge of the police.
