KANNUR: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK leader Stalin's presence at CPM Party Congress might lead to new discussions in national politics.
Stalin is coming to Kannur to attend a seminar to be held on the March 9 as part of the party congress. Yesterday morning, Minister K. Radhakrishnan reached Chennai and invited Stalin to the conference.
Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan is in close touch with Stalin. Recently, Chief Minister met Stalin in person and wished him happy birthday. Pinarayi even attended Stalin's autobiography release. Stalin and CPM General Secretary Sitaram Yechury demanded that the Congress, the Left and the secular democratic parties must unite against the BJP. Yechury's remarks at the Tamil Nadu CPM state convention that Stalin could contribute to the anti - BJP movement were widely discussed.
