CHANDIGARH: Four people have been shot dead in Punjab after two groups opened fire at each other following a land dispute. The shocking incident took place in Gurdaspur district. The husband of a Congress sarpanch from Phulra village was also among those killed.
The dispute between the two groups over a piece of land in Golewal village in Dasuya in Hoshiapur district led to the clash. Three of the deceased belonged to one group, while the fourth man belonged to the other group.
Meanwhile, the Congress has come out lashing out at the AAP government. The Congress alleged that the rule of law collapsed with the AAP coming to power in the state.
