KANNUR: K V Thomas was invited to the party congress, not to the CPM, said CPM Kannur district secretary M V Jayarajan. K V Thomas, the Congressman, was invited to the CPM seminar. The invitation was for expressing the Congress’ opinion, he said.

K V Thomas has not informed that he will not participate in the seminar conducted as part of the party congress. That is why his name was again added in the seminar, said M V Jayarajan, in an interview with a private media channel.

The Congress is in love with the BJP. This love is the reason for its hostility towards CPM, he criticized. Meantime, K V Thomas responded that the decision on whether to attend the party congress will be announced on Thursday.
