KANNUR: Congress leader K V Thomas said that a decision will be taken tomorrow on whether to attend the seminar as part of the CPM party congress. He said the decision could not be delayed any longer and that he would meet the media in Kochi tomorrow at 11 am.

Thomas had earlier written to Congress president Sonia Gandhi seeking permission to attend the seminar. The Congress High Command had directed Thomas not to attend the seminar. The high command said the leaders should stand by the KPCC decision and there is no change in their previous stand.

However, he was called to attend a seminar on Centre-State relations. Thomas had said yesterday that he does not think that he was invited on party basis and called him as someone who is knowledgeable about the subject.
