The teaser of Mammootty starrer 'CBI 5 The Brain' has been released. The teaser hints that the fifth film in the CBI series will be a celebration to fans.

The fifth film is coming out thirty years after the release of the first film in the CBI series. This time too, the film is directed K Madhu and screenplay by SN Swamy. 'Oru CBI Diary Kurippu', the first film in the series, was released in 1988. 'Jagratha', 'Sethuramayyar CBI' and 'Nerariyan CBI' were also released later.

Mammootty's heroine in the movie is Asha Sarath. The film stars Mukesh, Ranji Panicker, Jagathy, Sai Kumar and Saubin Shahir. The production is by Swargachithra. The music is by Jakes Bijo. The movie will be released in theatres soon.
