KANNUR: Politburo member M A Baby welcomed Congress leader K V Thomas to the CPM. Baby said he would welcome if Thomas takes a brave stand.

‘Thomas is a leader of Nehruvian heritage. The party has brought together eminent leaders like T K Hamza and K T Jaleel. Thomas would not have to suffer if he attends the seminar,’ said Baby.

The history is that deserving consideration has been given to those cooperating with the CPM. In the case of Thomas, these things are yet to come. Meantime, CPM Kannur district secretary M V Jayarajan reiterated that he was confident that K V Thomas would attend the party congress seminar.
