THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Yet another goon attack has taken place in Thiruvananthapuram. A youth got seriously injured after a three-member gang hurled a bomb at him. The incident took place at Menamkulam in Kazhakkootam. The young man sustained serious injuries to his leg in the bombing. The injured youth has been identified as Puthurajan Cletus, a native of Thumba. The youth, who is in critical condition, has been admitted to the Medical College Hospital. The three-member gang reached the spot in a scooter.

The preliminary conclusion is that the drug mafia was behind the attack. An Activa scooter was found at the scene. It is suspected that the attackers targeted a youth named Sunil, who was with Cletus.
