The ‘Chambikko’ trend on social media has finally made its way to the CPM party congress. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan is the one coming into the frame as Michaelappan, like in the viral scene in the Mammootty starrer ‘Bheeshma Parvam’.

The incident took place while delegates from Kerala were taking group photos with politburo members S Ramachandran Pillai, Pinarayi Vijayan, Kodiyeri Balakrishnan and M A Baby at the 23rd Party Congress in Kannur. While all the members sat ready for the photograph, Pinarayi Vijayan walked towards them and took a seat in the middle, as done in trend reels. Minister Saji Cherian has shared the video on Facebook.

However, the video does not contain the popular background score from the movie. But, the minister has given hint of the trend in the caption. It is sure that party workers will soon add BGM to the video and make it viral.
