KOCHI: The crime branch said one of the WhatsApp chats deleted from Dileep’s phone is that of Gulchan from Iran. The police said he used to release Malayalam films in Iran after dubbing. He had dubbed many of Dileep’s Malayalam films.

Dileep deleted the data from his phone in the conspiracy hatched to endanger the investigating officials. The information about Gulchen was obtained in the hard disc seized from the lab in Mumbai sent to delete pivotal information from the phone.

Meantime, the crime branch has collected various evidences against Dileep in the actress attack case. 11,161 videos and 11,238 voice messages were found on the mobile phones submitted by actor Dileep and other accused in the high court. More than two lakh photographs and 1597 documents were also found in the forensic examination. The six phones belong to Dileep, his brother Anoop and brother-in-law Sooraj.

The three phones belonged to Dileep and one of Sooraj. 10879 voice messages, 65384 pictures, 6682 videos and 779 documents from obtained from Dileep’s two phones alone. The details of these two phones alone will be around thirteen thousand pages. The police team is sorting out information from the forensic report of more than two lakh pages.
