ISLAMABAD: Hafiz Saeed, mastermind of the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks, has been sentenced to 31 years in prison. Saeed was convicted by a Pakistan anti-terrorism court. Hafiz Saeed, a leader of the Lashkar-e-Taiba militant group, has been convicted in two separate cases. In addition, the court ordered the confiscation of all property in the name of Hafiz Saeed.
The court also imposed a fine of PKR 3,40,000 on the UN-designated terrorist. Two years ago, a Pakistani court sentenced Saeed to 15 years in prison for raising money for a terrorist organization.
