THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has warned of heavy rains in the state as a result of low pressure. IMD has issued yellow alerts in eight districts of the state- Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Idukki and Malappuram.
