KANNUR: Speaking to the media in Kannur, Congress leader KV Thomas said that Pinarayi Vijayan is one of the best Chief Ministers Kerala has ever seen. He lauded the Chief Minister and said that he used to keep in touch with Pinarayi from time to time and he would solve the issues raised.

KV Thomas said that he would start by quoting Rahul Gandhi's speech at the CPM party congress seminar. He also criticized the Congress' stance on the K-rail issue. He opined that all parties were in agreement on the Nedumbassery airport and the same should be there for K-rail development.

Congress leader KV Thomas arrived at the Kannur airport this evening to attend a seminar as part of the CPM party congress. CPM party workers adorned a red shawl on Thomas and welcomed him with applause. The reception was led by MV Jayarajan, CPM Kannur District Secretary.
