KOZHIKODE: K Muraleedharan MP said that he is sad in K V Thomas attending the seminar as part of the CPM party congress. It is sad that a leader like him, who has been with the party for so long, attending the seminar. He added that Thomas himself is aware of the consequences of violating the party's directive.

‘The party congress is being held in Kerala. The CPM Kerala unit only wants the Congress to be destroyed. So it is not right to participate in the party congress when it is held in Kannur. Could have attended if it was in any other state. Not only that, the place had witnessed the killings of many congress activists,’ Muraleedharan said while talking to the media.

Meantime, Muraleedharan also said that it was not right to criticise K V Thomas. Thomas did not go to the Parliament by breaking the tile. The election victories were the recognition given to him by the people. Some of the problems of KV Thomas were not solved, said Muraleedharan.
