KANNUR: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin is in Kerala to attend the 23rd CPM party congress.

The chief minister of Tamil Nadu was accorded a warm welcome by the senior leaders of the CPM and Minister M V Govindan at the Kannur International Airport. About 250 party workers were there to receive him.

Stalin was invited to the party congress as part of a call for a coalition of non-BJP chief ministers in India. Stalin will attend a seminar on the relations between the centre and states at the party congress this evening.

Meantime, CPM general secretary Sitaram Yechury said he had not said that Stalin was the best chief minister. He added that this was medias fake propaganda.
