KANNUR: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan appreciated KV Thomas for participating in the CPM party congress seminar by violating the ban imposed by the Congress High command. The Chief Minister said this while inaugurating the seminar."Some people tried to scare KV Thomas by saying that he would have his nose cut off if he attended the seminar. But he will not be harmed. Nothing has happened today and nothing will happen tomorrow," CM said. He also pointed out that he was not ready for a prediction in the case of KV Thomas.
'KV Thomas was invited as a Congress leader. He is still a Congress leader.' CM said. Meanwhile, the Congress protested in Thopumpady against KV Thomas, who had participated in the CPM seminar. His effigy was burnt and dumped in the lake.
